Architecture-first engineering

We don't just write code. We engineer outcomes.

We design, modernize and scale business-critical software for teams who can't afford a costly rewrite — one accountable firm for the decisions that usually take three or four vendors.

The Problem We Solve

Founders shouldn't need four vendors to ship one product

The IT services industry has one specific offering — development. That's it. Need business advice? That's a big consultancy and a big bill. Marketing strategy? Another vendor. Compliance for the markets you're launching in? Yet another conversation with yet another expert.

Founders end up stitching together four different partners just to get a product off the ground — and most of the time, none of them are talking to each other.

We started HiQByte in New Delhi in 2021 because that gap frustrated us too much to ignore.

About HiQByte

Most software problems start before a single line of code

Projects rarely fail from lack of effort — they fail from weak architecture, unclear priorities and disconnected execution. We combine consulting, architecture and engineering into one accountable team, so the expensive mistakes get caught before they're ever written. Before code, we spend the first 2–3 weeks on the decisions that make or break a product: architecture for scale, the business and revenue model, and the market research founders can actually execute on.

Once the product is live, we don't disappear. AMC support and long-term collaboration are built in — because a product that launched is not a finished product.

  • Architecture review before any line of code
  • Business and revenue model mapped to the product
  • Compliance from day one, not as an afterthought
  • We'll tell you when your idea needs rethinking
More About Us
The HiQByte Standard

Not a service list — a standard

One firm for everything that makes or breaks a product: architecture-first, single-vendor accountability, NDA-protected from day one — so you never stitch four vendors together again. Every engagement starts with the architecture review.

// Engineering

Mobile

Apps that work the first time

Cross-platform mobile development with architecture reviews baked in — designed for what happens at 10x the initial load, not just launch day.

Web

Full-stack that scales

Clean APIs and distributed systems — built to handle what comes after launch.

AI & Data

Intelligence you can act on

Not dashboards for dashboards' sake. Data pipelines and ML integrations tied to business decisions.

UI/UX

Interfaces that convert

Design thinking from user journey to pixel — no templates.

Cloud & DevOps

Infrastructure with a plan

Cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, cost-aware deployment.

// Consulting & Partnership

Strategy & Market

The business layer

Business model design, revenue mapping, market research — strategy founders can execute on, pre and post launch.

Operations & Cost

Stop the bleeding

Operations, cost structure, infrastructure — wherever a business is bleeding unnecessarily, we look at it.

Compliance

Compliant from day one

Launching in multiple markets means different rules everywhere — and getting it wrong is expensive. We build compliance in, not bolt it on.

AMC & Long-Term Support

We don't disappear after launch

A product that launched is not a finished product. AMC support and long-term collaboration keep it healthy as you grow.

Ready to build something that lasts?

Most projects fail at architecture, not ambition. Let's fix that before it becomes expensive.

Our Sharpest Edges

What others skip, we make mandatory

Architecture before development

Before a line of product code is written, we design for load, fault-tolerance and maintainability. This isn't overhead — it's the reason our systems don't need expensive rewrites at scale.

  • System design reviewed as a team
  • Scalability modeled from day one
  • Sign-off before development starts
See a real architecture review

End-to-end delivery ownership

Strategy, mobile, backend, optimization, delivery — one team responsible for the whole outcome. No handoff gaps. No silos.

  • Single point of accountability
  • Cross-functional review at every stage
  • No diffusion of responsibility

Principled technical pushback

When a requirement creates hidden risk, we surface it — not to block progress, but to protect the product. It's what turns one-time projects into long-term partnerships.

  • Active requirement review
  • Better path proposed, not just identified
  • Clients get more than they asked for
Who We Work With

Built for founders who ship serious software

We're a strong fit if

  • A technical decision today shapes your next 2–5 years
  • You're building or modernizing a business-critical system
  • You want a senior partner in the room, not ticket-takers
  • You value architecture, ownership and long-term thinking

We're probably not, if

  • You're looking for the cheapest development option
  • You need a team that only takes tickets
  • Speed matters more to you than technical quality
  • It's a basic marketing site or quick concept validation

Our services are premium. For the right startups, we also work on equity.

FAQ

Questions founders ask us

What services does HiQByte offer?

HiQByte offers software development — mobile apps, full-stack web, AI & data, UI/UX, cloud & DevOps — plus consulting in business strategy, market research, operations, cost structure and multi-market compliance, with AMC support after launch.

What happens before development starts?

The first 2–3 weeks are strategy, not code: system architecture for scale and security, the business and revenue model mapped to the product, market research, and compliance for every market you're launching in. Development begins only after the architecture is signed off.

What does the architecture review include?

Every project gets a system design review covering scalability, fault-tolerance, security and maintainability — modeled for roughly 10x the launch-day load. It's mandatory on every engagement and never billed as an extra.

Do you offer technology and operations consulting without development?

Yes. Our consultancy goes beyond tech — operations, cost structure and infrastructure. Wherever a business is bleeding unnecessarily, we look at it. You don't need to build with us to consult with us.

What happens after my product launches?

We don't disappear. We work on AMC support and long-term collaboration — performance monitoring, iteration and growth support — because a product that launched is not a finished product.

Do you work with early-stage startups on equity?

Our services are premium, and for the right startups we also work on an equity basis — when the idea is right and the architecture conversation excites us. Mention it when you reach out.

Where is HiQByte based and who do you work with?

HiQByte is an independent software development and consulting firm founded in 2021, headquartered in New Delhi, India, and working worldwide. We serve startups and mid-size product companies — founders starting out, founders whose growth has stalled, and businesses that need a senior technical and strategic partner.

Is HiQByte the same as HighByte?

No. HiQByte is an independent software development & consulting firm based in New Delhi, India, founded in 2021. We are not affiliated with HighByte, the US industrial DataOps company, or any similarly named business.
